not for long hair dog... or human

The suction is amazing but the brush always stops rolling because of pet hair caught in it... for a vacuum good for pet hair, this one is not efficient for long hair pet....

Works well and lasts long

This vacuum works great! We have 3 dogs and run it almost every day and it is great with the dog hair. The battery lasts a while and it is easy to get new filters for it.
I’ve owned this vacuum for a few months now and it’s spent most of its time in the closet. It doesn’t work, just moves dirt and hair around on the floor no matter how many passes. It really is a huge disappointment. I contacted shark as I had thought I might have gotten a faulty one, I normally love their products and have recommended them to many people, they did offer a replacement which was incredibly nice, however the new one is the same as the old, junk. Now I have 2 pieces of garbage to look at.
Only worked for a month. Now holds charge for 5min

Great vacuum for the short time is worked. After only a month it only holds a charge for maybe 5 mins. Now the company is requiring me to pay shipping for a new battery. Why should I have to pay to get a new battery on a vacuum that’s only a month old.
I bought this month ago. love it while it worked. It's a month old and now I can only vacuum for 2 mins before it dies. It's only a month old. It should be dining this fast. not impressed.
This may not be a good product for you if you have long hair. After using it for a week, I noticed some hair stuck in the brush roll, so I had to pull it out by myself. Currently, it still works normally even when the hair is stuck in the brush roll. But I am concerned the amount of hair will build up and eventually impacts the usage, so I decide to return this product.
The vacuum works great but the engineering and design are ridiculous. You need to add some way to hang it up or at least able it to stand on its own, and place to put the tools.
I do like this vacuum a lot. It’s main selling point was how hair doesn’t get wrapped around the brush. I can confirm it most definitely does, not as much as other vacuums but, it still does. I knocked off a star for that. I can clean the entire downstairs on one charge. It moves from carpet to bare floors with ease. I also do my area rugs. This thing picks up so much pet hair!! I also take it outside to use on the cars. Much easier than a shop vac. It has a battery indicator light which tells you how much battery remains and how charged it is. I much prefer this over lugging out the Kirby. I have weak arms from several surgeries, this is so light weight, I have no issues vacuuming daily with it. Between the kids and my pets, I have to use this daily.
